Nope. Rule in this league has always been as long as I have either his hitter or pitcher position on my team then I retain the rights to both. Since he’s not going to pitch again this year, I dropped his pitcher position so I wasn’t forced to keep 2 slots for 1 player who won’t ever pitch the rest of the year.

No worries. I usually post it, but thought after 5 years I didn't need to. But always good for a reminder. I actually wouldn't have dropped him until the off-season if I'd known they were actually going to make his pitcher IL eligible even though he's not on the IL. They have never done that before.
