If it's just an admin move, and no big deal, then why not just straight drop him before?  

I respect you CJ, and all you've always done for these leagues.  You are always the first one to bring up issues in the league and loopholes that need to be closed.  So surely you have to agree that this was quite a loophole to use, right? Maybe in this case it's not an issue. But it opens it up to others doing the same thing and stashing MLB players on the minor league roster, which we always try to prohibit.  The guy literally is an All-Star (batted twice in the All-Star game) and spent the minimum 10 days on the IL before being activated.  If it was 2 weeks from now after the minors draft was done, you could have simply left him on your minors roster and had your roster locked, which isn't a huge deal after the draft if you aren't adding any minor league players. It would have allowed you to stash an All-Star player on your minors team, and keeping him away from others to add, all because he got 4 at bats in a single minor league rehab game waiting to come off the IL.  If someones already out of it for this year, then why not stash some extra MLB players on their minors team that might help them next year?  That's the loophole I'm trying to make sure we close.

Purely timing. The Marlins suck, Garret was a replacement DH for Jahs sake 🤦🏽‍♂️. Julio hit the DL, the draft was coming up, so I moved Kelenic up to make room. I was about to cut Cooper, who I already cut before. Before cutting I said oh shit he’s actually in the minors  he can take Kelenic spot. Then I prayed Berry would fall in the draft, while cutting a deal with Westtown, which  cleared another spot.

Now I’m holding him just to be an ass and give you the finger 🤣. I value/treat my minors squad differently. I liked to keep it stocked with young talent which is why I passed on Colas. I could give a rats ass if someone stashing broke dick players there. More young talent for me 🤷🏽‍♂️
