Just to be clear, you are talking about the two new guys having a couple days to fill out their minors roster, correct?  Not all the rest of us

Just putting this here to call attention to it.

From the 2026 Business topic where the expansion details were laid out;

“After the two rounds of the draft, the new owners will have 3 days to fill out the rest of their 20-man rosters. At that point, we'll unfreeze the minor league rosters and existing GMs can backfill their two open spots.”

We need to help these 2 guys out some. Give them the 3 days to fill out their minors squad. Then the rest of us can jump in.

Thanks for finding that Ken, I was going off of the rules thread that says one thing but that certainly says another. I’ll get Article 9 of our rules cleaned up once this draft is complete so it’s all worked out before we do this again. In the meantime, let’s give the new guys a chance to fill out their rosters.

To avoid another draft, we’ll open up free agency for the two expansion teams at 5p EDT tonight. Let’s give them 72 hours and we’ll open free agency up for everyone at 5p EDT on Friday (4/10/26).
